New York City Day Trip- September 14, 2026

Our morning begins at The Jewish Museum, where we will experience Women of the Wiener Werkstätte, a captivating exhibition highlighting the groundbreaking women designers and artists who helped shape one of Europe’s most influential design movements. From textiles and ceramics to fashion and graphic arts, the exhibition illuminates the vital creative contributions of women whose work defined the Wiener Werkstätte’s bold aesthetic.

Following our visit, we will enjoy lunch at the elegant Café Sabarsky, renowned for its authentic Viennese cuisine and refined Old World ambiance.

In the afternoon, we continue to the Neue Galerie New York for a guided tour of its celebrated collection of German and Austrian art and design. Here, we will place the Wiener Werkstätte within the broader context of Viennese modernism, encountering masterworks of painting, decorative arts, and design that defined the era.

We conclude the day with farewell cocktails at a an artist’s studio working in fiber arts.
